I like setting the volume of things as odd numbers, especially primes.
Whenever I open the TV to either watch a movie or play video games, I always try to set it as numbers like 7, 13, 19 or 23. It feels a lot better than even numbers like 16 or 18.
Something about these odd (usually prime, I tend to avoid multiples of 5 too) numbers are simply beautiful in my eyes, how they feel random and messy and all that. Of course I personally dislike symmetry and balance in things like paintings and art, maybe they're related?
Many times I've come across a meme or something that's about how it feel better to set numbers as even rather than odd, which I disagree with. Am I the only one that thinks this?
