⚽ The 2026–27 UEFA Champions League league-phase draw has set the eight opening opponents for each of the competition’s 36 clubs. Arsenal will play Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, while Manchester City were paired with Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona.
The draw in Monaco uses UEFA’s 36-team league format rather than the old four-team groups: each club plays eight different opponents, with four home and four away matches.
The league phase begins on 8 September. The full fixture list, including dates and kick-off times, is due by 29 August, so the draw does not yet establish when the headline ties will be played.
The single league table will send the top eight directly to the round of 16; clubs in ninth through 24th will enter knockout play-offs. The final is scheduled for 5 June 2027 at Madrid’s Metropolitano Stadium. 🏟️
