Amsterdam for 4 days and Heidelberg for 2 days - recommendations??
My fiancé and I (30 yr olds) are flying into Frankfurt mid to late November for our anniversary. Our current plan is to take a train to Amsterdam right away and spend four nights in Amsterdam then take a train to Heidelberg for two nights so we’re close to the airport and it just seems more interesting than Frankfurt. Does this seem doable? Frankfurt is the only direct flight from our airport so we’re restrained in that way.
Are there any other places in this region that you would recommend? And recommendations for things to see, places to eat/drink, etc?
Also how should we dress/pack?
