Am I missing something?

Hello all, this was supposed to be a desktop cup for pens etc, the supports that were printed inside are impossible to remove. Is it supposed to be like this or am I missing something, I’m new to 3-D printing and this is the biggest thing I have printed so far. (In PLA)
