I think its time for an upgrade
This week has got me thinking that maybe its finally time to upgrade. I've been holding on to my trusty i7-7700k 32gb 2070s system for as long as possible.
I'm here in Estonia and I can't find any outstanding deals on prebuilt machines, so i think its time to build a semi new rig. I've been away from the pc building scene for years now and the world has changed quite a bit in the meantime.
I will be keeping some components from my old system, case, PSU and SSD's and initially the gpu. ( the PSU is a 850W BeQuiet and the ssd's are mostly pci'e 3.0)
I'm not on a strict budget but I care about value and a pc is not really the thing I want to splurge on.
Had a chat with one of the PC parts sales guys here. His suggestion was a 9700x or a 250k plus and then a 9070 or a 9070xt gpu later. I will be definitely going for 32 gb of ram.
I mainly use my system for coding, 3d cad and ocassionally some gaming at 1440p.
I probably won't be upgrading again in the next 5 years so I would like for this system to last me a while.
What would the best pick for me be? Also noticed a 7800x3d is 40 bucks more then the others.
