My Wife and I had a trip of a lifetime in April when we drove the whole route 66 and are planning for our next Great American roadtrip. This time we would like to focus more on national parks as well as a trip to San Diego to go to the ZOO.
Current plan:
**Fly to LAX - San Diego- Sequoia NP - Kings Canyon NP - Death Vally NP - Las Vegas - Valley of Fire SP - Zion NP - Bryce Canyon NP - Capitol Reef NP - Arches NP - Canyonlands NP - Dead Horse point SP - Salt Lake City - Grand Teton - Yellowstone - Twin Falls - Lake Tahoe - Yosemite - San Francisco - Pacific coast highway - Los Angeles**
I am wandering if this route is realistic for 28 day roadtrip without rushing or would you change anything, I also would like to hear your thoughts about what time of year to visit...my current plan is somewhere april-june or in september
