Hey y’all,
Going to Southeast Asia starting in October for about 6 weeks. I’m wondering to people who have backpacked in this region , what vaccines did you get ? I’m pretty late to the game and underestimated this completely. I did want to do cool excursions but I don’t really have a set itinerary.
I did just get a tetanus shot. I tried to get typhoid but it was $200. My doctor was like that’s all you need but I had read I needed hepatitis a and b. Now I’m reading all about rabies and getting a little paranoid. I want to feel safe about my trip but I guess I’m just wondering what anyone more experienced than me thinks I should do. I guess this is all a luck of the draw kind of thing but yeah I don’t know how important each one is I am getting widely mixed reviews as I read online.
