Fluoride is good for you, fellow humans. Drink.. up..?
I don't drink water from the tap, it upsets my stomach. I was raised on bore water (underground well) and rain water. I now only drink filtered rainwater, mainly because I don't have a bore. I've also used natural toothpaste for as long as I can remember (bicarb and eucalyptus mix).
So.. why do our local water companies care for us so much that they don't want our teeth rotting out of our skulls by adding a helpful and loving dose of fluoride into our tap water? The idea drilled into our minds from a young age is that "the water treatment companies and the government say fluoride is good for your teeth, they're looking out for us and making sure you don't get full of cavities". Why... would a company that supplies and charges you for clean, bacteria free H20.. care about your oral health? Is this the same level of care and concern for our safety that has recently been brought to our attention, by banning gas stoves in newly developed houses? I've never once had to chew water to be able to safely swallow it, so why would I need healthy teeth to consume this product of theirs?
Well.. well.. well... Fluoride is an UNWANTED byproduct of aluminium, fertilizer, and iron ore manufacture. And what exactly do you do if you have a by product that you can't sell to regular consumers to make a profit, or can't afford to pay to dispose of it without simply pumping it into the ocean? Has there ever been a record in our recent, or not so recent history, where big companies and corporations sell an idea by indoctrinating the masses into thinking that "this thing" that they've done, that you voluntarily will now be forced to take part in, is in the best interests for your "health and safety" and is now just the new normal? Have companies or corporations ever been found to have influenced government, education or healthcare to promote a certain message? Is this a conspiracy, or does it just make sense?
