Alabama to Buffalo road trip - 3 days 2 nights
Headed back from Barber Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham, Alabama and headed home to the Buffalo area with my wife and her father.
We are going to spend two nights during the trip home - father in law would love to spend some time around the Tail of the Dragon. It’s about 5 hours from Barber.
leaving Alabama on Sunday Oct 13 in the afternoon. we want to be home (near Buffalo) by the evening on Tuesday Oct 15.
looking for any advice and suggestions on a nice route through the Smokey Mountains and some viable places and/or decent towns/cities to spend the night. We are all Motorcycle enthusiasts. First night would be within the vicinity (within an hour or so) of Deals Gap.
