Shadow the Hedgehog was actually a decent game
I just got hit by nostalgia and remembered the game shadow the hedgehog.
Everyone seems to hate on this game. But I just don't see why. The Gameplay was fun, the story was fine. I mean it's a spinoff to sonic. So it's not like you could expect Steven Spielberg level writing. The game was also suprisingly bug free. Which says a lot if you consider that it's a sonic game.
I know the game was edgy as hell. But tbh the main characters whole deal is beeing edgy. Just look at him. His design screams "Edgelord". And I have to say, when i was a 10 year old boy, this edgy stuff was just amazing. Riding a way too big motorcycle while shooting alien weapons was just fun. And yes, the story was ridiculous. But then again, the target group was edgy kids. It's not like they'd care. I feel like every criticism at the time came from 30 year old dudes who never outgrew their sonic the hedgehog phase.
