Does anyone just do normal routine and hobbies while traveling?
My friends think this is weird. When I go traveling, I just tend to stay in one city for 5 days because I'm too lazy to pack up my luggage and move between hotels and cities. Every day, I just pick a few touristic sights to see and then I will go do some hobbies that I would normally do at home, like go to the thrift shop, indoor rock climbing, group fitness class, grocery shopping, cycling. I feel like I have such a hectic life at home with working long hours and I don't always get time to pursue my hobbies. Also I feel I get a better view into how the domestic people are living. But then people around me seem to think "you are wasting money when traveling, can't you do that at home?" so I'm not sure.
