M17 - Omega Nebula

I've been working on an Omega Nebula project for the past two days. My goal is to reach 6 hours of total integration time; right now I’m at 1h 40m, but progress is slow due to frequent clouds and some tracking problems with my telescope.

I also need some advice on my PHD2 configuration: guiding seems unstable. With 4-second exposures the stars drift vertically, and I notice the same amount of movement even when I go up to 120 seconds, with no improvement.
Any tips on how I could improve the overall sharpness and clarity of the image? At the moment my FWHM values are hovering around 2.5"–5.5"...
I've tried with the Bahtinov mask and that's the best that I can do with the focus :)
