Finally Solved the problem :)

I work offshore in the North Sea, spending a lot of time living in platform accommodation.
One thing that has always annoyed me is the layout of the cabins. The nightstands are positioned behind your head when you're lying in bed, which means that anything you actually need during the night is surprisingly difficult to reach.
Phone, glasses, water bottle, earplugs, small personal items… you end up having to reach awkwardly behind your head or get out of bed just to grab something.
After dealing with this for a while, I decided to try to solve the problem myself.
So I designed BUNK BOSS — a small 3D-printed bedside organizer designed to keep the things you actually need within easy reach while you're in bed.
It started as a solution for my offshore cabin, but I quickly realized that the same problem exists in a lot of other places:
🛏️ Bunk beds
🏠 Guest rooms
🏕️ Cabins
🚐 Campers/RVs
🏡 Home
I've also started using it at home and in bunk beds at the cabin, and it's turned out to be one of those simple things that makes more of a difference than you would expect.
This is one of those projects that started with “there has to be a better way” and ended with me designing and 3D printing my own solution.
I'd be interested to hear if anyone else has had the same problem with bunk beds or awkwardly positioned nightstands.
Would something like BUNK BOSS be useful in your setup?

This is a modular setup, so its easy to personalize and build to perfection ;) Share your thoughts and ideas.

This early model is shared on MAKERWORLD.
