BBQ Caddy made from scraps
I made a quick BBQ caddy from assorted wood in my scrap pile to carry an oil bottle, pepper grinder, salt mill, meat thermometer, tongs, and a beverage... rather than making a half dozen trips back into the house.
The bottom is red oak and the sides are pine boards. I made the cut outs using a jig saw and a carpenter square for the angles so the handle is centered to balance everything being carried.
The wood slats were ripped on my table saw from a 2x4 and fit into dados cut on my table saw using a cross cut sled.
Everything is glued and tacked together.
The finish is oil stain and polyurethane
