I followed a high school classmate on their "private" account, which I had followed before but discovered that I was taken away, so I sent an IG follow request. Was that wrong to do? Is it strange to follow her if she took me away?
Pretty much what the title says. I graduated from high school last year and follow this one girl from my old class on Insta. We weren't best friends but good acquaintances. She has two accounts, one more general and the second, which is more "private," with more photos and niche things. I was following both until some time ago, and now while scrolling, I discovered that I wasn't on the niche account anymore and sent a follow request instinctively, but feel quite stupid and like a dork because she most probably unfollowed me, and this makes me seem desperate. The weird thing, and what bothers me quite a lot, is that other girls from my old class, whom she was not at all friends with nor really talked to much, are still on there, so I am assuming that it was a mistake but also like maybe she just found me weird. Don't know what to do. It seems weird to take back the request now, but like idk what I did to her for her to take me away. Ig I am strange as well as I also fear that I will be rejected and she will probs make fun of me with our old classmates. Need help navigating the situation. I realise that I am not able to do much but how should I change my thinking pattern. Anybody been in anything similar?
