We went through the same thing — so we turned it into a little story with our dog Lily 🐶
It's been surprisingly helpful, because kids see it through a character instead of being told what to do.
We made the Kindle version free for a couple of days if you want to try it with your child 💛
And if it clicks, there's also a paperback version (with a couple of simple coloring pages) that works really nicely for bedtime reading 📚
