🚀 SpaceX is scheduled to release its first quarterly earnings as a public company on August 4, following its June initial public offering.
The report is expected to provide a fuller view of the company’s finances, including its launch business, Starlink satellite communications operation and other Musk-linked businesses.
📈 Investors are watching after SpaceX shares fell sharply from their June peak. The first lockup expiration is also due later this week, allowing more than 900 million additional shares to trade.
Starlink has been described as a major cash generator, while SpaceX is also developing Starship for future missions. NASA is working with SpaceX on a lunar lander for the Artemis program.
The earnings release and subsequent investor call are expected to address profitability, Starship development and the company’s satellite-network plans.
