In such situation time is most important factor. We can't stand and watch because within seconds some life can go in sewer danger. I am a good swimmer and immediately I will jump in to help that woman and her child. I am confident that by watching me in action others will come forward to assist the rescue operation. I will pull them out if the danger level ( tides , weather, distance from me ) are I medium range. If the danger level is too high or more risky, I will call others to join me for alternative ( official rescue operation, boat to reach out or life jacket arrangements) .
Question 2 response: I am happy that I rescued the mother and her child successfully. Now I will check three things in first place.
1. Are they breathing and in consciousness. 2. Are they vomiting and water reached their lungs. 3. Are they unconscious and breathing.
So according to each situation I will adopt different approach. I will react,
👉Side position lay down and press the back to made ease vomiting, drain water from lungs. 👉CPR - I will press the chest at least 2 inches down and will release quickly to made breathing possible. 👉Call emergency medical services help.
