Virgin Trains has received track-access approval for up to 20 daily return services through the Channel Tunnel from 2030. 🚆

The planned routes link London with Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam. The agreement runs from October 1, 2030, to December 31, 2040.

📰 It follows Virgin’s October 2025 approval to use Temple Mills International depot, the east London facility needed to maintain trains for HS1 and cross-Channel operation.

Eurostar has been the only international passenger operator in the tunnel since services began in 1994. Virgin still needs other network access and safety approvals in Britain and the EU before trains can run. 🇬🇧🇫🇷
