Spelling mistakes and wrong word choice in written text have become so commonplace it's becoming hard to understand what people are saying sometimes
I'm not trying to be the grammar police. I can understand your writing fine if you misspell some things or use some homophones incorrectly. However, what started with smartphones and autocorrect seems (to me) to have gotten worse over the past 2-3 years. It's not just misspellings anymore, often autocorrect changes the word or phrase to something that isn't even close to what the writer intended. Sometimes the text is so far from a coherent sentence that it becomes hard to figure out what the writer meant. People used to correct these things when they realized there were mistakes in their writing, but now it seems like we just have to decipher what the original intent was on our own. We need to bring back proofreading.

As far back as I can remember, I always wanted people to spell the words right.
