This is my entry:
Almighty and Eternal Father, I thank you that I can come to you in faith through your Son, Jesus Christ my Lord and my Savior
This morning I bring Your son, our President, Cyril Ramaphosa the one entrusted with leading this nation, and I lift him up to You .
Grant him clear vision when the path is unclear,
and steady hands when the weight of leadership grows too great
Let truth be his guide
not popularity or pressure
Surround him with voices that speaks wisdom, not self interest
Remind him Lord, of the many promises he has made
to fight corruption, to uplift the poor, to build a nation that works for all
Where there is division, help him to plant seeds of peace
Where hope has faded, may his leadership inspire renewal
Remind him of the people behind the numbers;
the child who sleeps hungry
the worker without a job, and the elder waiting for dignity
And Lord, may he remember that leadership is not a crown
but a calling- to serve, to uplift and to heal.
We entrust him to You,
and we entrust South Africa to Your care
In the name of Jesus.
