Flower I Didn’t Plant.
I plant nasturtiums every year. I haven’t bought new seeds in a few years, just harvest the seeds and use the next year. Google says this is a Phoenix Nasturtium. Is this a common thing to happen? I’ve been planting nasturtiums for 35 years!
Also, it’s getting into the 30’s at night here. My seeds were planted 5 months ago and I’ve had Nasturtiums flowering for over 4 months. This Phoenix just popped up out of nowhere.

That orange flower looks real pretty. Saving your own seed 35 years and it still blooms that hard is pretty cool.
