At least three of these cases were apparent defenses of a woman, child, or animal. He staged major zoo escapes at least twice, once releasing the wolves and the elephant on the way out, and, separately, while evading recapture, relieving a police officer of his gun"

Born in jail to her incarcerated mother, teen is now Harvard-bound
Aurora Sky Castner was born in prison, and her father took custody of her as a newborn, raising her as a single parent.
During her elementary school years, Aurora took part in a community mentorship program that paired her with an adult volunteer.
This program aimed to provide guidance and support to young students by addressing their needs, emotions, and future aspirations, meeting once a week during lunch.
It was through this program that Aurora met Mona Hamby, who also didn’t have a mother figure in her life.
“I knew that I couldn't just have lunch with this kid once a week; she needed more,” Mona shared, recalling when Aurora was just 8 years old.
Mona went above and beyond by taking Aurora to a salon for her very first haircut and helping her get glasses.

During an interview with Stephen Hawking, the camera operator yanked a cable causing an alarm and Hawking to slump forward. Worried they had killed him, everyone rushed over to find Hawking giggling at his own joke. The alarm was from an office computer losing power.
Following Hawking's death in March 2018, BBC science correspondent Pallab Ghosh shared an anecdote of his first interview with the physics luminary at Cambridge University in 2004.
Seeking to adjust his lighting, the camera operator yanked a cable from a socket, at which point an alarm sounded and Hawking slumped forward as if unplugged from his life support. The anxious visitors rushed over to find Hawking very much alive and giddy at his joke – the alarm was simply over the office computer losing its power supply.
I can imagine for a moment, that camera man saw his life flash before his eyes.
