💯China to G7: ‘Don’t interfere in our internal affairs’
The Chinese Foreign Ministry on Monday disputed the statement issued by the G7 Foreign Ministers regarding the situation in the South China Sea.
‘’The G7 foreign ministers’ meeting insisted on manipulating the China-related agenda, ignoring the facts and confusing right from wrong, wantonly interfering in China’s internal affairs,” said Wang Wenbin, spokesperson, Chinese Foreign Ministry, during a press conference.
“Immediately stop interfering in other countries’ internal affairs and undermining other countries’ development,” Wang added.
I n a communique after their ministerial meeting in Italy on Friday, the G7 Foreign Ministers expressed their opposition to Beijing's "dangerous" actions in the South China Sea, one of the world's busiest waterways, several parts of which is being claimed by China.
“We continue to oppose China’s dangerous use of coast guard and maritime militia in the South China Sea and its repeated obstruction of countries’ high seas freedom of navigation and we express serious concern about the increasing use of dangerous maneuvers and water cannons against Philippine vessels in this regard,” the G7 statement said.
The Group of Seven (G7) is an informal grouping of seven of the world's advanced economies, including Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States, as well as the European Union (EU).

IDF strikes Hezbollah targets in three different locations in southern Lebanon
Israel Air Force jets struck Hezbollah terror targets in three different locations in southern Lebanon during an overnight operation, the military said Sunday morning.
Jets attacked an observation post in the Odaisseh area in addition to two military structures in the Khiam area.

The military further noted that during one of the strikes, a terrorist was located operating from within a Hezbollah military structure in the Tayr Harfa area. The structure was subsequently destroyed by the jets.
