We just got home from the cemetery, today is All Saints' Day, a national holiday in Hungary.
We were at my parents' graves.
The cemetery is wonderful at night, the candles on all the graves are lit... 🕯️

So thankful for today’s blessings. The sun was radiant the whole day. I was able to visit all the graves of my late grandparents, brother, aunts, and uncles. May they rest in peace. +
Undás is a shortened Filipino term for “Dia De Los Todos Santos,” from the Spanish word Honras (honours). It is a time to remember our departed loved ones by visiting their graves, honoring them with prayers, candles, and flowers. But most of all by offering holy masses for the repose of their souls.

2. All Souls’ Day. - is dedicated to remembering and praying for the souls of the departed, especially loved ones
3. Patronal Festival - celebrates a church’s patron Saint, the specific saint it’s dedicated to with services and community events focused on that saint’s legacy.
Tomorrow 2/11 we will be gathering at the church to have fellowship as a community
Sunday 3/11 we will be celebrating our Patronal Festival and observe All Souls Day
