I had a wonderful evening at the Tibetan Tusi banquet in Shangri-La. We were warmly welcomed with a gold scarf, a symbol of respect and blessing. I also learned a new Tibetan word, “Tashi Delek,” which means good luck or blessings.
The dinner was filled with rich flavors of hotpot dishes and warm butter milk tea. The atmosphere was filled with music, and vibrant culture performances . By the end of the night, we all joined hands in a joyful circle dance, celebrating together like one big family.
