I wrote my brief story yesterday.
The Strength to Keep Going
My name is Salvs but my real name is Salvie. I was born into a simple life and I am the youngest among in seven siblings . When I was in three years old ,our mother left us. From then on our father become our mother and father too.
Our father, spent almost his entire life working hard just to provide our needs. But life can be so unpredictable. When I was 11years old,our father passed away. That was probably the most painful and saddest moment our family had ever experienced. It felt like our whole world had fallen apart.
Just one month after our father died, our eldest sibling also passed away.
When I look back, we went through so much sadness and hardship. Life can be so unfair sometimes but we realized that if we allowed ourselves to be consumed by sadness,nothing would change. So we chose to keep going.
No matter how many challenges came into my life, I never allowed them to become a reason to give up.
My advice to everyone, love and appreciate your parents while they still beside you. Many people wish they could have more time with their parents but not everyone is given that chance.
Life may bring you many challenges but no matter how difficult things become, keep moving forward. Sometimes, the strongest thing we can do is simple choose to continue.
