Object: Mirror

Did you know that people once believed mirrors could steal your soul? 🤔

In many ancient cultures, mirrors were seen as mystical objects. When someone died, it was common to cover all mirrors in the house to prevent the soul from getting trapped inside.

That's why even today, some traditions still avoid mirrors during mourning.

A simple mirror.. once feared as a gateway to the spirit world.

☕✨
Did you know? In the 18th century, tea cups didn’t have handles! 😳
People used to drink hot tea by holding the cup itself or pouring it into saucers to cool it down. Handles were added later when Europeans started enjoying hotter drinks like coffee and needed a safer grip! 🔥
A simple cup… but full of surprising history. ☕💭

Did you know that SPOONS 🥄 🥄 used to be Status Symbols?

In medieval Europe, people would carry their own personal spoons everywhere they go- especially when attending feasts. Why? Because hosts didn't always provide utensils. And spoons
were considered valuable personal items.

Some wealthy families even had custom-made spoons engraved with their names or family crests, and these were sometimes given as christening gifts known as " Apostle Spoons".

So next time you use a spoon, remember - it wasn't just for eating - it once showed your social status
too. 👀 ✨
