Some progress is so small you don't notice it until you look back
I think we sometimes expect progress to be obvious.
A big achievement, a finished project, or something we can show other people.
But sometimes progress is handling a situation better than you would have six months ago, being more patient, or finally doing something you've been putting off.

A 15 year old girl who once needed emergency treatment for sickle cell crises as often as every two weeks is now back at school as a prefect and no longer experiences crises, after becoming the first patient in the UK to complete gene editing treatment for the disease.
