✋🏼Howzit! A greeting often used by South Africans in passing usually between co workers, within a community or even as I discovered here in Dubai when we meet a fellow South African expat.
👍🏼Sharp! A South African thank you. Used by customers within any service industry whether it’s the petrol jockey or the cashier in the grocery store or the waiter in a restaurant, it’s the universal thank you used in my country.
✌🏼Ubuntu. Meaning "I am because we are". Symbolizing peace, community and interconnectedness in my country called the Rainbow Nation.
