Note! Beginning of Ramadan 2024 4 Day Holiday, Here's the Schedule
In a matter of days, Muslims around the world will welcome the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan. This means that all Muslims are required to fast during the entire Muslim month.
The good news is, there are holidays so that Muslims in Indonesia can spend the first days of Ramadan fasting more solemnly with their loved ones. This is because there is a fairly long holiday which is scheduled to coincide with the start of Ramadan.
So, when does Ramadan 2024 start?
Before answering that question, it is important to know that there are differences in determining the start of Ramadan between the two largest Islamic organizations in this country, namely the Muhammadiyah Central Committee (PP) and Nahdlatul Ulama (NU). The government uses the method used by NU. This difference can give rise to different results regarding the start of the new month.
