Received a call few minutes ago , #news about #employment for the old University degrees holders in #tunisia .. published exclusively in newspaper.
Bought the #newspaper . Just rubbish news and blabla , speculations.
Now 20 years has gone and government can't find spot for biomedical engineering tech , for me ..
Another #political step to calm down the boiling jobless in streets.

In June 2026 , #italia has officially blocked and suspended imports of red shrimp ( Aristaeomorpha foliacea ) from #tunisia after data revealed that Tunisian catch and export volumes far exceeded international management limits by 41% .
Yesterday, 22 October, the block was extended till the end of 2026.
According to " Selina Wamucii" report :
""" Tunisia exported US$ 36.1 million worth of #shrimps and prawns in 2024, totaling 4,558 tonnes.
Ranking 26th among 103 global exporters, with a 0.2% share of world exports.

The usual price per kilo of small low quality shrimps was between 56 and 23 TND ( 18.7 and 7 $ ) for years.
Today , the price was officially announced around 6 TND /kg (2 $) for the premium quality (used to be exported).
we don't even see that type in #market since years. And the money goes to few pockets in USD and Euro, to exporting companies outside of Tunisia.
Now the table turned, thank you Italia 😘
