Lviv in December

Hi, I'm considering visiting Lviv with my partner (Ukrainian). We would both take a bus to Warsaw from Paris (my family lives there) and then take a train to Lviv to avoid lengthy bus border check.

My question relates mostly to how Lviv is safe now compared to year ago. I am aware of the risk of blackouts and lack of heating, esp. in winter with ruzzian strategy of bombing critical infrastructure. But is it safe statistics-wise, as in what other people are saying (that you are more likely to get hit by a car in Lviv than die from a missile/drone) true? Does it feel safe, how is it price-wise, etc.

I don't live there so I would be grateful for more information! For context I'm Polish and speak communicative Ukrainian so I'll be able to communicate without issues :) I'm learning a lot and I want to go beyond politics and experience the country so any advice is much appreciated 🙏

Ukraine struck the Samara Linear Production and Dispatch Station near Prosvet in Russia’s Samara region, sending a large column of smoke over the area. The Transneft facility is one of Europe’s largest oil transport and storage hubs and has been targeted repeatedly.
