aaWe have enough for 29 gas masks so far but received more requests. Tomorrow we place an order for urgently needed gas masks for multiple teams. Some have already had positions gassed. You can help by donating to protectavolunteer.com nd choose "Gas Masks on the Paypal menu
Tomorrow we place the order for all the masks and would love to order as many as possible. Right now we have enough for 29 masks but we get more requests all the time.
We are ordering masks in Ukraine and originally received a price of 5200 hrivyna or $125. As we are ordering a high volume they dropped the price to 5100 hrivyna or $123.50 which means that with $3600 raised so far we have enough for 29 masks.
We originally had requests from the 60th Mechanized, 4th Ranger Regiment, and 3rd Battalion International Legion. We have received enough donations to fill their requests so thank you. But today we got more requests from the 25th Airborne, GUR Legion Athena team, and the 23rd Separate Rifle Battalion. All together it's a request for 25 more masks.
We have other fundraisers still going but prioritized the gas masks due to the urgency. We are also fundraising for Omega team to get thermal cloaks and have raised enough for 6 of 10 cloaks. You can donate to them as 1st Squadron on the Paypal menu. #ukraine#local
We were in the car, on our way to where we were staying, when we suddenly heard a very loud explosion nearby. We stopped to check it out. Just a few hundred meters away, a Shahed drone had hit.
While we were talking to locals to figure out exactly where it crashed, we heard anti-aircraft fire and the buzzing of another incoming Shahed. It struck just a few hundred meters from us again.
We began filming—and then at least eight more strikes followed all around us! These were major hits from large Shahed drones. We’re certain people were injured or worse.
We’ve never experienced anything this close. It was intense and honestly, terrifying.
Moments like this remind us just how dangerous it is here… and why we continue doing what we do. The world needs to see this.
We're now on our way to see if we can help anywhere. We'll keep you posted. #local#ukraine
