Hey Everyone🙋‍♀️

A big thank you to everyone who joined in our #earn activity #WorldHeartDay ❤️
I truly enjoyed reading through your entries- it's always inspiring to see the different ways our community reflects on health, joy and care.😊🙂😊💛

Each entry had value, and I'm grateful for the effort you put in. What stood out most for me is how important it is to take heart health seriously - not just on World Heart Day, but every day.
Sometimes we share the familiar (eat well, exercise, rest) but behind that are real-life stories, choices and even struggles that matter deeply.

And let us not forget one of the most important things: checking in with regular health check-ups. Many heart conditions are silent, and those check-ups could make all the difference.❤️

1. To be honest, I’m not really sure how well I take care of my heart. I always thought if I felt physically okay, then my heart was okay too. But thinking about World Heart Day makes me realize I’ve been neglecting my health—especially my heart—and it’s kind of overwhelming. I feel a mix of regret and sadness knowing I’ve taken my health for granted. Every part of my body matters, even the smallest, because they all connect and impact each other.

I haven’t been consistent with medical checkups, and I probably should. Sometimes, though, my body sends signals—like that sharp, intense pain in my chest that radiates to my back. It scares me because heart issues run in my family; one of my grandparents had heart failure.

On the bright side, I do take some care unknowingly—I don’t smoke or drink, and I try to eat plenty of fruits and veggies. The things I struggle with are regular exercise and getting enough restful sleep.

2. When I receive good news and stay productive every day, my heart literally beats faster with joy. It lifts my spirit and helps melt away stress. There’s something truly special about that thrilling feeling of achieving a goal I’ve worked hard for — the excitement is so real and energizing. Plus, trying new adventures makes my heart pound with wonder and pure happiness, reminding me how beautiful life can be when I step outside my comfort zone.

3. Tagging because her kindness, warmth, and understanding truly brighten my days. I always look forward to her activities—not just because they’re inspiring, but because through them, I get to reconnect with a part of myself I sometimes forget. Her presence is a gentle reminder that kindness is medicine for the heart. ❤️

This #WorldHeartDay activity of sponsored by is a wake-up call for me—it reminds me that heart health deserves my attention and care, now more than ever.

1. Ways I Take Care of My Heart (Physical & Mental)

I've learned that taking care of my heart is less about dramatic changes and more about boring consistency. I prioritize a long, brisk walk every morning, not for speed, but for the peaceful rhythm that clears my head before the day starts. I try to make most of my meals plant-heavy, recognizing that my heart thrives on fuel that doesn't feel like a heavy anchor.
Crucially, while most people need 7-9 hours, I'm among the rare 1% of the population that is a natural short sleeper (less than five hours daily), so I focus on the high quality of that dense sleep.
Managing stress is the hardest part, for that, I rely on stepping completely away from screens when I feel overwhelmed, choosing silence and deep breathing over checking one more notification. And most importantly, I check in with my doctor at least once or twice a year or in between if I'm feeling unwell. Knowing potential issues early is a form of proactive self-love.

2. Things That Make My Heart Beat Faster with Joy

My heart genuinely races when I’m focused on a creative project, whether it’s writing, building something, or solving a complex work problem. That feeling of flow and concentration is pure mental joy. On the social side, nothing beats the sudden, explosive laughter shared with friends, the kind that makes your stomach hurt and your eyes water, that’s instant emotional cardio. Finally, quiet moments of unexpected connection, like seeing a genuinely kind gesture in public or a heartfelt conversation with family, give me a deep, sustaining warmth.
