It's been quite a while since I posted some of my art. Well, here you go! This is something I did last summer/autumn. Apologies if the image isn't too fab – it looks a lot better in real life, I assure you! It took me all in all some three afternoons, I think. I usually don't have too much free time, so I do an hour here, two hours there, whenever I have the chance. The tap and some of the flowers (although you can't really see it) are done in gold paint, the watermelon slice behind it is a sponge! 😺 Hope you like it!

Happy Friday dear #Tanglers
I hope everyone had a great working week. Now some well deserved R&R during the weekend 😸 For me that means creating some art works. And, as you know, lately I have been into acrylic paintings. Time to share with you my third 'masterpiece'. This time, I tried out a small, black canvas and I must admit – I found it difficult to paint on. I prefer white a lot better. I chose for a yin-yang inspired design of two entangled celestial cats, one representing the sun, one representing the moon. And since the canvas was black, I opted for stars in the background. It looks better IRL, the image does not do it justice...

My second acrylic painting was a small square canvas and, since I did not have enough acrylics, I did add in some gouache colours as well.
I love the cat's little pink tongue sticking out, he looks so happy, leaning his head on the table. I most definitely enjoyed painting this one. Sometimes the simplest ideas turn out the best!
