What are you putting off?

We often assume we have more time. “I’ll do it tomorrow.” “I’ll start when…” These phrases become habits, convincing us that life will always give us another chance. But the truth is, time is never guaranteed.

Every day, people lose the opportunity for one more conversation, one more embrace, one more chance to do what truly matters. Do you think they would have lived differently if they had known it was their last day? Should you be living differently, knowing you have no certainty of another?

This isn’t about fear—it’s about awareness. It’s about prioritizing what’s important and living with intention. We get so caught up in the routine of life that we forget how fragile it really is. We assume there will be time for that dream, that apology, that moment with a loved one. But what if there isn’t?

I’m not perfect. I make mistakes every day. But I try to live better, to appreciate what I have now instead of waiting for a future that may never come.

We’ve all experienced loss. We’ve all wished we had just one more moment with someone. Why take the chance? Identify what matters most and act on it now. Love fully. Speak honestly. Chase what fulfills you. Not because you’re afraid of running out of time, but because right now is the only time that’s truly yours. Don’t waste it.

If this reached you or there was something that truly resonated with you, please like and share in hopes this will maybe reach someone that it could help.

What daily steps are you taking?

When we feel stuck or lacking in life, it often comes down to being disconnected from our True Self—the person we were designed to be. The good news is, you don’t have to make a massive, overwhelming change to reconnect with that version of you. Instead, it’s about setting a clear vision for your True Self and then showing up daily, one small step at a time, as that person.

Your True Self is compassionate, grateful, empathetic, and forgiving—not just to others, but also to yourself. These qualities aren’t something we stumble upon; they are cultivated through intentional daily practice. Start small. Spend two minutes in the morning listing things you’re grateful for—no matter how simple. Gratitude shifts your mindset from what’s missing to what’s abundant. Show compassion by choosing to respond gently, even when your first instinct is frustration. Practice empathy by truly listening to others, seeking to understand their perspectives. And most importantly, forgive—release the weight of resentment that keeps you tethered to the past.

Each day, these practices are a vote for the person you are becoming. They aren’t easy at first, but they get easier the more you do them. Like Aristotle said, “We are what we repeatedly do.” Your True Self isn’t a distant goal; it’s created moment by moment. By aligning your daily actions with this vision, you’ll discover that the life you thought was lacking begins to feel full, purposeful, and aligned with who you truly are.

If this reached you or there was something that truly resonated with you, please like and share in hopes this will maybe reach someone that it could help.
