The Philippines is looking to grow its enoki mushroom industry to meet local demand and expand into international markets.

PHILIPPINES EYES ENOKI MUSHROOM EXPORTS TO ASIA AND THE MIDDLE EAST

The Philippines plans to expand commercial enoki mushroom farming to reduce imports and tap export opportunities in Asia and the Middle East. Agriculture Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel Jr. said the country currently imports around 6,200 metric tons of enoki mushrooms annually and encouraged growers to utilize Agricultural Credit Policy Council (ACPC) financing to increase production.

According to the agriculture chief, enoki mushrooms can be cultivated nationwide using climate-controlled facilities and proper cooling systems, helping strengthen local production while opening new export opportunities.

Went to work and earn a full body cramp for next days , i still blink though.

Was responsible of sorting cleaning and preparing for transport of collected #bio plums (3 types) and peaches.

Of course I was alone and no tools or machines to process approx 800 kg of plums. 7 workers were flooding me with plums .
But got great help with peaches (~~ 230 kg) .

Took 6 hours and 2 trips to deliver it to wholesales market.
And 15 min in total eating from trees 😁, no need to wash it.
Had a tough hot day. Was wonderful time .
