When I was a kid, one night there was a power outage in our house. Everything was completely dark and quiet. While I was lying in bed, I suddenly heard slow footsteps in the hallway outside my room. My heart started beating really fast, and I was too scared to even move.
After a few minutes, I slowly opened my door to check. Just then, something suddenly ran past me and I almost screamed!
It turned out to be our cat running through the hallway in the dark. I was scared the whole night,

When I was about 8 years old, there was a big tree outside our house. One night I looked out the window and saw a tall, dark shadow moving under the tree. I was so scared that I ran to my parents and told them there was a ghost outside.
My dad went outside with a flashlight to check. After a moment he started laughing. The “ghost” was actually just a white bedsheet hanging on the clothesline and moving in the wind.
I felt a little embarrassed, but now it’s one of the funniest memories from my childhood.

I got really scared and thought maybe a ghost had come into the house. My heart was beating so fast, but I still gathered some courage and slowly walked toward the kitchen.
When I opened the door, I almost screamed… but then I saw the “ghost.”
It was just our cat standing on the table, knocking down a bowl while trying to steal some food! 🐱
I went from being terrified to laughing so hard. The next morning my family couldn’t stop teasing me about how I was scared of a hungry cat. 😄👻
