suno sloppawakening i got thoughts but i do already feel defeated in them. The rise of ai artwork did not bother me that much albeit it was my profession. i never strived for realism and ofcourse you could always run my art to train a model and it would produce the exact same terrible results, i have yet to feel threatened by it.
With #music however , which was always more of a passion project I DO feel threatened. I'm a professional normie spotter and I've noticed there is NO difference to the masses of if a song is created by mankind or by robofriends. the outrage is also much smaller compared to what we witnessed during Ai art days. It's a numbing feeling from a creator standpoint. Where to go from here? Refusing to participate feels like giving up. Outing your voice does kinda get you ridiculed. It's a nice mixtape of feels and if I had any sort of spine I would likely not give-a but consider me spineless.
I do understand the need to keep the gears grinding and im not completely opposed to the idea of getting Wavyl.com filled to the brim with DMCA free content especially as a streamer, but if there's anything that could help a fellow hand-crafter out to feel like their work is appreciated what would you do? I'm not the typa beast to put a No-Ai hashtag on my tracks. Should AI tracks be labelled as such on #wavyl (automatically by AI ofcourse ) or should the challenge be to stand out from the crowd and simply not giving a frick?` #discuss !
