Are you stuck?

Being stuck is a part of life we can’t control. Whether it’s a situation we didn’t choose—like being indoors, trapped by circumstances, or waiting for a better opportunity—or feeling stuck in our own growth, it’s an experience everyone faces. But while the circumstances are beyond our control, what we do in those moments is entirely within our influence. This is the choice we face: to use this time as “alive time”—a period of learning, growth, and transformation—or as “dead time,” where we remain stagnant, reactive, and unfulfilled.

It’s not our fault that we find ourselves stuck. Life’s obstacles, delays, and challenges happen to everyone. Yet our response to them is our responsibility. This is where our power lies. If we choose to shift our perspective, we can see that obstacles aren’t barriers; they’re opportunities to grow stronger, wiser, and more resourceful. The very thing that feels like an impediment to action can become the catalyst for something greater.

This choice defines the course of our lives. “Alive time” allows us to turn setbacks into fuel for progress, making even the hardest situations meaningful. “Dead time” keeps us in a cycle of waiting and frustration, disconnected from our ability to influence our own journey. The silver lining isn’t found in external circumstances—it’s in how we choose to use this moment. Growth, progress, and empowerment are always available, even when life feels stuck. The choice is yours.

If this reached you or there was something that truly resonated with you, please like and share in hopes this will maybe reach someone that it could help.

This vintage American Indian boat first started as a drawing. Once finished, the bucks (deer) had to be found and brought down with arrows. The skins had to be cleaned and sewn together, wood had to be bent for the frame. Once the little craft was ready, the decorations were painted on and she was ready for fishing and traveling.

We all have goals and maybe you can't get to them. But we all can do one small part of our project today -- just one. Let's do it. Cheers, Susan❤️

Ever have a good plan?

There is no such thing as a perfect plan. No matter how meticulously we try to map out every detail, unforeseen obstacles and variables will inevitably arise. Yet, even as imperfect as our plan may be, following it signifies action. And it is action, not mere ideation, that transforms dreams into reality.

Many people possess remarkable ideas, but fear of failure, inadequacy, embarrassment, or rejection often paralyzes them. These fears confine their ideas to the realm of imagination, preventing them from reaching their full potential. By not acting on their ideas, they remain trapped in a cycle of unfulfilled dreams.

The key to breaking this cycle is to make a plan and execute it. Plans are not set in stone; they are meant to be dynamic and adaptable. They can be altered, improved, or completely overhauled as we progress. What matters is that we keep moving forward, learning, and evolving with each step.

Taking action is essential. It means embracing the possibility of failure and mistakes as valuable lessons rather than setbacks. These experiences are often the best learning tools, guiding us toward eventual success.

So, dream and be creative. But don’t stop there. Start writing down your ideas, crafting your plans, and most importantly, start doing. The journey from dream to reality is paved with imperfect plans and continuous action. By taking that first step, you propel yourself towards achieving your goals and living your dreams.
