#boredomstrikehitme and I took an advice from a 🤗 friend :

" ... You have to make the best out of it "
Different context but excellent wisdom.

I tried to make it before ( activity I guess) wasn't good enough results.

So .. spent cool time to make these #commemorative coins.
Wasn't easy to find 's portrait with a good angle (I hope he doesn't mind what I did ).

Can't find 's portrait ( everyone, send me links if you can pls).

If you want one, let me know.

Where does disappointments come from?

Disappointments are not born from events themselves but from what our mind attaches to them. A broken promise is simply a fact. It happened. Yet, the moment we add meaning to it; thinking someone does not respect us, does not care about us, or that life is unfair, we turn that fact into a wound. It is never the event itself that causes suffering. It is the story we create around it.

This is where the False Self shows up. The False Self thrives on expectation, pride, and ego. It demands that people behave a certain way to validate our worth. When they do not, it reacts with frustration, anger, or hurt. But that reaction is not truth. It is a distortion. Living from the False Self means constantly being tossed around by what others do or do not do. It is living reactively instead of proactively.

Your True Self does not need validation from others. It understands that people break promises because of their own choices, struggles, or lack of awareness—not because of your value. When you stop attaching meaning to these moments, they lose their power. They become nothing more than what they are: events. And when something is just an event, you are free.

This freedom is the beginning of influence. Instead of being consumed by hurt, you choose presence. Instead of building resentment, you choose growth. The practice is simple but requires mindfulness: see the bare fact without adding to it.

When you live this way, disappointments dissolve. What remains is clarity. And with clarity, you have energy for what truly matters; living as your True Self, influencing life with compassion, resilience, and strength.
