Do you trust yourself to figure it out?

I used to believe I needed to know more before I could become more.

When I started coaching, writing, and investing, I kept thinking I needed one more piece of information before I was ready. One more course. One more book. One more answer.

What I eventually realized was that learning had become a comfortable place to hide.

Knowledge was important, but knowledge alone was never going to create confidence. Action would.

So I started before I felt ready.

I put myself out there as a coach and learned through experience. I committed to writing every single day and became a better writer by writing. I started investing while continuing to research, learn, and adjust along the way.

That changed everything.

I stopped waiting to become the person who knew exactly what to do and started becoming the person who trusted himself to figure things out.

There is a huge difference.

Confidence is not knowing exactly what will happen. Confidence is trusting yourself enough to take the next action and knowing you can adjust as you learn.

Your potential does not grow because you keep thinking about what you could do. It grows when your thoughts become actions, and those actions are repeated through commitment, focus, and consistency.

So stop negotiating with yourself.

You said you were going to do it.

Start.

You do not need to know everything.

You need to trust yourself enough to figure out what comes next.

What is their opinion?

One of the fastest ways to drain your energy and sabotage your happiness is by overthinking what other people might be thinking about you. You don’t control their minds, their moods, or their choices; so why are you wasting your life trying? Stop assuming people are upset with you. Stop trying to manage emotions that aren’t yours to carry. If someone has something to say, it’s their responsibility to bring it forward. If they don’t, it’s not on you. Freedom begins when you let people be responsible for themselves and you focus on what’s within your influence—your own thoughts, your own energy, your own response.

Here’s the truth: when you don’t take the time to truly know yourself, you become vulnerable to the noise of everyone else’s opinions. You’ll start believing stories about yourself that aren’t even yours; just random, fearful projections from others. And once you internalize those disempowering ideas, they begin shaping how you see yourself and how you live. That’s the real danger.

But when you know who you are, deeply, you become unshakable. You stop needing outside validation because your worth is rooted within. You stop mistaking someone’s silence, bad mood, or opinion as a reflection of you. You begin to stand tall in your own energy, no longer tossed around by the waves of other people’s emotions.

So here’s your call to action today: stop mind-reading. Stop assuming. Stop carrying the weight of what isn’t yours. Instead, turn inward. Invest time in understanding yourself, your values, your truth, your power. Because the better you know yourself, the less room there is for anyone else’s noise. And in that clarity, you’ll find peace, strength, and the freedom to live as your True Self.

To be great, sometimes you need help.

If you want the resilience to be great—to truly rise to your potential—you have to stop obsessing over results. Focus instead on your effort. What you can control is your commitment, your preparation, your choices, and the energy you bring. That’s where your power lives. The people who accomplish the most aren’t fixated on winning; they’re locked in on doing their best. And when they’ve given their best, they know that is the win—regardless of the outcome. Greatness isn’t about everything going right. It’s about showing up fully, consistently, and with purpose.

But here’s something just as important: being strong doesn’t mean doing it all alone. Resilience isn’t about pretending you’re never tired, never overwhelmed, or never in need. Real strength is knowing when to ask for help—and being willing to ask for it. That’s not weakness. That’s self-awareness. That’s courage. Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is say, “I need support right now.” Whether it’s advice, a listening ear, time to breathe, or someone to stand beside you, that moment of reaching out doesn’t make you less—it makes you human.

We all want to be strong. But remember: even the strongest people lean. They regroup. They ask. And they keep going. If you want resilience, build it by taking full ownership of what you can influence—and by letting others lift you when you need it. That balance is what sustains greatness over time.

If this reached you or there was something that truly resonated with you, please like and share in hopes this will maybe reach someone that it could help.
