What if you never actually lost your confidence?

The older I get, the more I realize how much confidence changes the way we experience life.

But I think we misunderstand where confidence comes from.

People tell me they lost their confidence as if it disappeared somewhere along the way. But confidence did not pack its bags and leave you.

Confidence is an emotion, and emotions begin with thought.

That is TEAR in action. Your thoughts influence your emotions. Your emotions influence your actions. Your actions help create your results.

The problem is that most people repeatedly think about the moments they failed, struggled, made mistakes, or felt rejected. Then they wonder why confidence feels so far away.

Change what you are giving your attention to.

Think about a moment when you succeeded. A moment when you overcame something difficult. A moment when you were proud of yourself.

Now rebuild that experience in your imagination. See what you saw. Hear what you heard. Feel what you felt. Make the experience vivid enough that your body begins responding to the memory.

You are reminding yourself of evidence that already exists.

Confidence is not pretending you can do something you have never done. It is reconnecting with the evidence that you have figured things out before and trusting yourself enough to act again.

Then action creates new evidence.

That evidence creates stronger thoughts. Stronger thoughts influence your emotional energy. That energy influences your next action.

You did not lose your confidence.

You stopped creating the thoughts, emotions, and actions that allowed you to experience it.

Start creating it again.

Do you trust yourself to figure it out?

I used to believe I needed to know more before I could become more.

When I started coaching, writing, and investing, I kept thinking I needed one more piece of information before I was ready. One more course. One more book. One more answer.

What I eventually realized was that learning had become a comfortable place to hide.

Knowledge was important, but knowledge alone was never going to create confidence. Action would.

So I started before I felt ready.

I put myself out there as a coach and learned through experience. I committed to writing every single day and became a better writer by writing. I started investing while continuing to research, learn, and adjust along the way.

That changed everything.

I stopped waiting to become the person who knew exactly what to do and started becoming the person who trusted himself to figure things out.

There is a huge difference.

Confidence is not knowing exactly what will happen. Confidence is trusting yourself enough to take the next action and knowing you can adjust as you learn.

Your potential does not grow because you keep thinking about what you could do. It grows when your thoughts become actions, and those actions are repeated through commitment, focus, and consistency.

So stop negotiating with yourself.

You said you were going to do it.

Start.

You do not need to know everything.

You need to trust yourself enough to figure out what comes next.

Good morning, friends! ☀️😄
Here’s a little funny thought for the day. Sometimes people see you doing something they can’t do and immediately decide, “Hmm, that must be fake!” 😂

Maybe it’s insecurity. Maybe it’s doubt. Or maybe their imagination is simply working overtime! 🤣
Not everyone who succeeds is pretending, and not everything you don’t understand is fake. Sometimes, instead of judging someone else, it’s worth looking in the mirror and asking, “Wait, am I being genuine myself?” 😅🪞

Let’s spend less time letting insecurity make us doubt others, less time tearing people down, and more time improving ourselves. After all, being real takes much less energy than pretending! 😂💪✨
So today, be kind, be genuine, celebrate others, and keep insecurity from stealing your good vibes! 😄❤️

Moral: 🌿✨ Don’t let insecurity make you question someone else’s authenticity. What you cannot do or understand may simply be something another person does well. Stay genuine, focus on your own growth, and let others shine too. ❤️

Have a wonderful day, everyone! ☀️🥰
