Good Morning from Fabulous Las Vegas Nevada! ☕🍩
We're just getting started with summer....or as I like to call it, Preheat Oven ... 🔥🥵🔥
Supposed to get up near 110°F/43°C this week. They're talking about it getting kind of windy later on this week. So instead of feeling like you're walking around under a giant heat lamp, you feel like you're walking around under a giant heat lamp with a blow dryer on high heat stuck in your mouth.
Anyways, most of us old timers are quite used to it by now. It's what happens when you live in the middle of the desert...in the summer. It's why I spend 95% of my time indoors.
Of course many people around here will try to give you comfort by offering the wise old adage, ' at least it's a dry heat '. 🙄
I just bide my time under the AC with fans on high....waiting for winter so we can bitch about how cold it is. 🥶
