Good Morning from Fabulous Las Vegas Nevada! ☕🍩
We're just getting started with summer....or as I like to call it, Preheat Oven ... 🔥🥵🔥
Supposed to get up near 110°F/43°C this week. They're talking about it getting kind of windy later on this week. So instead of feeling like you're walking around under a giant heat lamp, you feel like you're walking around under a giant heat lamp with a blow dryer on high heat stuck in your mouth.
Anyways, most of us old timers are quite used to it by now. It's what happens when you live in the middle of the desert...in the summer. It's why I spend 95% of my time indoors.
Of course many people around here will try to give you comfort by offering the wise old adage, ' at least it's a dry heat '. 🙄
I just bide my time under the AC with fans on high....waiting for winter so we can bitch about how cold it is. 🥶

We’re having a heatwave here in Tuscany, Italy too but nothing as extreme as what you’re dealing with. Geez… stay safe and keep the AC on full power!🥵 ✌️

It was 14-15C this morning and my toes didn't appreciate it none. They closed the city pool early yesterday afternoon because of cold temps. Weird shit. Someone sperimentatin with one of them weather weapons.

Moooore than cold weather.
Over here, they're already telling us that as soon as it hits 21 degrees, there'll be heat-related deaths everywhere.... We're supposed to hit 37 degrees this weekend, and the climate fanatics are already going crazy.
The joke? That was already a thing when I was a kid. It doesn't happen very often—just a few times a year. Some years, not at all.
I was at the Pyramids of Giza once when it was 60 degrees in the shade. And I loved it! LOL I even ran because my hat blew away, and I ran like an idiot through the desert to catch it. *laughs* Every time I was about to catch it, it kept drifting away... but I finally caught it. So yeah, I can handle the heat. Bring on hell! 😜😂

That sounds like my girlfriend, she loves the heat. She's outside way more than I am. Maybe it's a German thing, she's from Frankfurt. 😉

Maybe because it's always so cold here—we really appreciate the warmth LOL

it's usually around 27-33 where I live which is super comfortable compared to 43 🥵
Lived in Phoenix for a few months....hotter than Vegas that's for sure 🥵
