As my colored pencils and pens moved from the vibrant, warm oranges in the center to the cool greens and deep purples on the outside, I felt my thoughts begin to align. The outer cool colors helped me calm down, while the sunny middle helped me feel better.
The rhythmic, radial pattern of coloring this beautiful mandala truly felt like a moving meditation, allowing me to let go and just focus on the tactile comfort of the pencil on the textured paper, letting the patterns guide me into a slower, quieter state of mind. As I worked, I felt my thoughts settle, almost like everything noisy in my head softened into the rhythm of each shape.
The blend of gentle, glowing colors represents a calm I was trying to reconnect with, and surprisingly, it really helped me relax and feel more centered as I went along.
