Tonight is a special night (and day)!
First, there was a grand planetary parade in the morning featuring six planets (Jupiter, Mercury, Mars, Uranus, Saturn, and Neptune).
Then, we had a partial solar eclipse—right at sunset. (About 80%)
Blackmoon (New Moon)
And in the night the Perseid meteor shower.
Here you can hear us on top of the hill - watching the meteor shower - it was so fantastic!
We could clearly see the Milky Way—the sky was full of stars.
At least 50 shooting stars—we didn't count them. And we also saw numerous satellites passing by.
