Darth Vader, Will Always Be a Peak Star Wars Character

10/10 Character design
10/10 Tragic Background although the Clone Wars really helped with that.
10/10 Aura, His voice, Breathing, Combat fighting style so simply effective it loops around back into an awesomely elegant but brutal fighting style.
His appearances in video games, whether Jedi Fall Order and Survivor, to Battle Front 2 and the Forced Unleashed games is sheer perfection through presence and power alone.

He really is and will always be my favorite Star Wars character, and favorite villain in Hollywood history.

If you have to pick ONE scene where an actor truly stood out in all MCU movies and TV series , which one would it be?

SPOILER ALERT!

My award goes to RDJ Jr. in *Captain America: Civil War*.

That moment when Tony Stark realizes the Winter Soldier killed his parents and he turns to Steve with “did you know” is just on another level. His whole cocky, armored‑up persona drops instantly, and he suddenly sounds almost like a kid asking for the truth even though he already knows it’s going to hurt. It was honestly unnerving — like the movie shifted genres for a second.

There’s tension throughout Civil War, sure, but there’s also that MCU lightness in the background. Then this scene hits, and RDJ delivers this avalanche of emotion — grief, betrayal, rage, shock, all layered together — and you can see him unravel in real time - I felt like I was feeling the emotions that he was going through in my body.

Carolina Caroline

Just watched this last night. From the trailers and pre-release interviews, I expected a breezy caper-romance film. It’s that, but a bit deeper as well. Both Samara Weaving and Kyle Gallner are appealing as the main characters.
Weaving is known primarily as a “scream queen” but she shows considerable depth in this as her character realizes just what she’s gotten involved with.
The sound track is very good, mostly classic country tunes. Emmylou Harris doing “Sweet Dreams” is very poignant.

Enjoyable and more affecting than I expected.
