I think sometimes we make being a better human being much more complicated than it needs to be.
For me, I see three easy starters.
Acceptance. Approval. Appreciation.
Start with acceptance.
People do not need to become who you think they should be before you can accept them for who they are. One of the greatest lessons I have learned is that I cannot change another person. I can influence them, but real change must come from within them.
And strangely enough, when people feel accepted instead of judged, they often become more willing to grow.
Then comes approval.
Instead of constantly looking for what someone is doing wrong, start looking for what they are doing right. There is always something. Sometimes you just have to become intentional about seeing it.
What you focus on grows in your awareness.
Finally, appreciation.
Think about the people in your life and ask yourself when you last made them feel valuable. Not when you thought it. When you actually expressed it.
Your spouse. Your children. Your friends. Your coworkers. Even the stranger you interact with today.
People want to feel seen. They want to feel heard. They want to know they matter.
So today, practice these three things.
Accept someone without trying to change them.
Approve of something good you see in them.
Appreciate them enough to tell them their value.
You may discover that becoming a better person is not about changing everyone around you.
It is about changing the energy you bring to them.

For some, that thought alone creates stress. Deadlines. Meetings. Problems waiting to be solved. Long days ahead. Maybe even the fear of failure before the week has really begun.
But Monday does not determine what kind of week you are going to have.
You do.
One of the most powerful ways to influence that direction is through the daily practice of gratitude.
Gratitude is much more than being thankful when something good happens. It is intentionally directing your awareness toward what is already good, meaningful, valuable, and working in your life.
What you repeatedly focus on becomes what your mind learns to look for.
If you begin Monday searching for problems, your mind will gladly find them. If you begin looking for reasons to be grateful, you begin training your mind to recognize possibility instead of only difficulty.
That does not mean ignoring problems or pretending everything is wonderful. Life will still challenge you. Gratitude simply changes the mental position from which you face those challenges.
So before you rush into this Monday, stop for a moment.
Think about what you have instead of what you lack. Think about the people you love. Your opportunities. Your experiences. Another morning. Another week. Another chance to grow.
You cannot choose everything this week will bring.
But you can influence the energy, attitude, and awareness you bring into it.
Practice gratitude today.
Then do it again tomorrow.
Your week can be great or dreadful.
Start by choosing where you place your mind.

Are you judging your whole life by one difficult chapter?
Your hardest days are not proof that you are failing. They are proof that you are still growing. Life will test you. It will stretch your patience, challenge your beliefs, and force you to become someone stronger than you were yesterday. That is not punishment. That is preparation.
Look at where you are right now. Every challenge you thought would break you is now behind you. You made it through every one of them. That means there is already more strength, resilience, and wisdom inside you than you give yourself credit for. Your past has prepared you for this moment.
Do not let one difficult season convince you that your future has been decided. It has not. The next choice you make has the power to change the direction of your life. Stay present. Keep learning. Keep growing. Keep showing up even when progress feels invisible. Every step forward strengthens your mind, builds your character, and brings you closer to your True Self.
Your story is still being written. Do not allow one chapter to define the entire book. The greatest version of your life is created one decision at a time. Make your next decision count.
